Chat with Religion

Terms of Use

Last updated September 1, 2026 · The agreement between you and Chat with Religion.

1. Using Chat with Religion

Chat with Religion is a conversational app that lets you explore faith and history through clearly labeled AI simulations inspired by biblical and historical figures. By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. AI conversations are not authority

The figures are not the real people they represent, and their replies are generated by AI. A reply may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent with scripture, history, or your tradition. Chat with Religion is not a church, clergy member, therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial adviser, or emergency service. Verify important claims with primary sources and trusted qualified people.

3. Safety and urgent situations

Do not use Chat with Religion for emergency, crisis, medical, mental-health, or safeguarding decisions. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In the United States, call or text 988. The app may show crisis resources, but it cannot assess safety or replace human help.

4. Eligibility and your account

You may use the app only where lawful and only if you can form a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority, use the app with a parent or legal guardian's permission. You are responsible for keeping access to your account and device secure and for activity that occurs through your account.

5. Your messages and acceptable use

You keep any rights you have in messages you submit. You give us the limited permissions needed to transmit those messages, generate replies, provide voice features, run the safety checks described in our Privacy Policy, secure the service, and enforce these Terms. Do not submit unlawful, abusive, or confidential information you are not authorized to share. Do not attempt to generate sexual, romantic, or intimate content; content that sexualizes minors in any form, including fiction or roleplay; threats, harassment, or hate; instructions for self-harm or violence; or any other content that is illegal or harms people. Do not use the app to harm anyone, impersonate a real person, evade safeguards, reverse engineer the service, scrape it, or interfere with its operation. We may block messages, remove content, and suspend or ban accounts that violate these rules, including automatically for serious violations.

6. Premium plans and purchases

Premium features are sold through Apple App Store in-app purchases. The store shows the localized price, currency, duration, and any introductory offer before purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in your store account settings. Introductory offers convert to the displayed renewal price when the offer ends. You can use Restore Purchases to recover an eligible purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

7. Third-party services

The app depends on third-party services for authentication, AI routing and model inference, speech-to-text, voice synthesis, and purchase entitlement management. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for services we do not control, although we select providers that we believe are appropriate for the feature being provided.

8. Ownership and feedback

The app, its design, software, branding, illustrations, and original content belong to Chat with Religion or its licensors. Biblical and historical source material may belong to other rights holders. We do not claim that any figure, tradition, church, or historical person endorses the app. If you send feedback, you allow us to use it without payment or obligation to you.

9. Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep Chat with Religion useful and available, but the service may change, be interrupted, or contain errors. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the app and its AI output are provided as-is and without warranties. We do not promise that a reply will be accurate, complete, suitable for your tradition, or available at a particular time.

10. Suspension, changes, and contact

We may suspend access when necessary to protect users, the service, or our legal rights. We may update these Terms as the app changes; the date above will change when we do. If a material change affects your rights, we will provide notice where required. Questions or legal requests can be sent to support@chatwithreligion.org.
